What price the investment in your marine surveying career?

The pricing structure is simple. The one off cost of your initial assessment includes a review of the material type(s) you seek accreditation for (yacht, small craft and superyacht marine surveyors only), plus two specialisms of your choice from the available options. Under the terms of the scheme you may hold no more than 5 specialisms at any one time.

However, additionally, at no charge, you have up to 150 words to describe your other marine surveying services or other surveying areas in which you are able to take instructions.

The initial assessment investment to include two specialisms of your choice is £425.

Additional specialisms at the time of accreditation are £90 for each extra one you choose (up to three more maximum making a total of five). So the minimum investment in your accreditation for 2 specialisms is £425 and the maximum for five specialisms is £695.

If you select one specialism only at the time of application, you may apply to add extra ones at a later date up to a maximum of five at a cost of £150 each.

The Accredited Marine Surveying Practitioner scheme annual renewal fee is £175, payable each year on the anniversary of your accreditation and you will be invoiced accordingly.
